The Rotary Peace Fellowship Committee Annual Meeting

The Rotary Peace Fellowship Committee in the Rotary Foundation concluded its annual meeting last week at Rotary International HQ in Evanston. The committee includes 10 Rotarians from around the world, nominated and selected by the Rotary Foundation, and works on recommending the selection of peace fellows, monitoring and evaluating the RPF program, and promoting the program in zones, districts, and clubs.

The committee this year contains in their ranks two of our district members

– District Secretary PP Jeries Shahin (RC Amman Citadel) whose 3-year term as a committee member started on July 1st, 2022

– Fellow Rotarian and Peace Fellow Alumnus Marios Antoniou (RC Nicosia Salamis) whose 3-year term as a committee member started on July 1st, 2023

The presence of our district members was effective and constructive, created a positive impact on the committee, and promoted the image of our district.
