The Rotary Clubs of Bahrain joined forces to prepare gifts for the Annual Gergaoon Night

In the spirit of unity and celebration, the Rotary Clubs of Bahrain (RC Manama, Salmaniya, Seef Bahrain, the Rotaract Clubs of Bahrain, and Muharraq) joined forces to meticulously prepare gifts for the cherished annual Gergaoon night.

Gergaoon, a festival that illuminates the middle of Ramadan, offers children a magical evening filled with traditional music, delightful treats, and the warmth of community.

The thoughtful selection of gifts included an array of toys, puzzles, and games, all carefully chosen to spark joy and creativity among the children. Additionally, a variety of sweets and treats were acquired during a dedicated shopping spree, ensuring the night would be remembered for its sweetness and joy. In a display of teamwork and camaraderie, all club members came together, forming an assembly line of generosity, to prepare the gift bags.

As Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” This sentiment beautifully encapsulates the essence of the clubs’ collective efforts, embodying the spirit of Gergaoon and the broader values of community, sharing, and joy.

Unfortunately due to the weather conditions, the Annual Gergaoon Night was postponed.
