The Rotary Club of Kyrenia Cosmopolitan is proud to have started the first and only Earlyact Club in Cyprus. The project which started in 2022, has recently pinned a new cohort of members on Thursday 30th of November 2023 at Karsiyaka Primary school. DDG Tastan Altuner, AG Sertac Gumus, RCKC President Olgun Topalcik pinned new members and the presidential medallion was given to newly elected President of ECKC who then gave a short speech on the aims and vision of their club. The ceremony was also attended by IPP Ayten Benoit, PP Ben Benoit, Headmistress of the school Ulgen Osmanli, Earlyacts Support teacher Makbule, other teachers and students.
The Earlaycts who have been receiving ongoing training programmes, which includes conducting meetings, preparing agenda, note taking, democratic decision making, planning and executing a plan have also been very active in the planning and maintenance of the RCKC Pollination Garden in their school.
The Earlyacts thanked guests for attending their event and then gave a short presentation of their Pollination garden informing guests of the importance of Pollination and the environment.
