The District Governor Bashar Haddad Visit to Georgia, 7th-8th September 2023.
Meeting with Rotary Club Tbilisi Ambassador, Hotel “Astoria”
Rotary Club Tbilisi Ambassador held his board meeting and the general assembly in the presence of District 2452 Governor Bashar Haddad, PDG Ashot Karapetyan, and DDG Iveta Chelishvili.
The Club President Asem Akour delivered a detailed presentation of the club activities and the strategic plan for 2023-2024. During the presentation, the Membership Chair PP George Khatiashvili explained the foundations of accepting new members and the future plans.
DG Bashar Haddad addressed the general assembly with a district roadmap for the year 2023-2024 and valuable advice and guidance for the club, On the sideline of the meeting the DG Bashar Haddad and the club members exchanged flags and souvenirs.
The board meeting and the general assembly were attended by the District Governor Bashar Haddad PDG Ashot Karapetyan and DDG Iveta Chelishvili, the Club President Asem Akour, the Club Membership Chair PP George Khatiashvili, the Club Service Projects Chair Mao Modzmanashvili, the Club Treasurer Giga Murtskhvaladze, the Club member Pikria Gogoladze
After the meeting, the Club members accompanied District Governor Bashar Haddad for one of the club’s main projects at Ken Walker Medical Rehabilitation University Clinic. The District Governor and the attendees received a comprehensive explanation of the project and there was a discussion about the ways to enhance the partnership in the future.
And in the evening DDG Iveta Chelishvili arranged for dinner from the name of all Georgian Clubs in honor of the District Governor Bashar Haddad and his wife Mais Haddad, also PDG Ashot Karapetyan and his wife Emma Karapetyan. The dinner was attended by all the Georgian club members.
