As part of the Rotary Club of Amman Petra’s ongoing Hifz Al Ne’meh initiative, and with the support of the Clothing Bank of the Hashemite Charitable Organization, the Club held a souq-like event for the vulnerable families of Sheikh Hussein on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Families were invited to choose for themselves what they needed from a selection of different displayed clothing, shoes, and household items. Over 1,500 pieces of clothing were distributed.

A special thanks goes to the club’s partners JOHUD, who kindly provided its community center in the Sheikh Hussein area, and to the Clothing Bank of the Hashemite Charitable Organization for helping us organize this event.

Hifz Al Ne’meh is a continuous project and initiative where Rotary Club of Amman Petra members donate and collect items that are new or in very good condition, to share with vulnerable families and communities.
