Dear fellow Rotarian’s,

I am so glad to address you again through my monthly newsletter to ensure that you are updated with Rotary & our district news.

During the first week of July, Inas my lovely wife & I had the pleasure of kicking of this promising Rotary year by early visits to clubs in beautiful Georgia & Armenia, in which every club we visited made a special impact in their communities. Some clubs needs some attention, other clubs are excelling and made us proud with their projects that are helping the communities, fellows who are so committed and eager to learn and achieve.

The rest of the month was dedicated for clubs in Amman-Jordan; the twelve clubs’s that we have here surprised me with a very high standard of planning & set Goals that I will be looking forward to celebrate by the end of the year. I will still need to visit clubs that are in need of my attention.
As you are aware, our great organization President is focusing on membership and its development; August is the Membership Month, so when would be better than this month to make sure that:

  • A membership committee is formed and active
  • A club trainer is assigned at every club
  • Plan to Do a membership assessment
  • Celebrate & recognize active members
  • Mentor & train our club members
  • Recruit new members, especially females , young members & our Rotaractors

To be able to connect the world we need to grow rotary, which means new members & new clubs, engage club leaders to create more leaders and make sure that we implement projects that have a great impact.
